Do any of you remember Mary Engelbreit?

I loved her growing up.  In fact, there used to be a Mary Engelbreit store at the Galleria in Dallas.  I loved the colors, whenever you walked in it was just fun! I think that’s why I love Mackenzie Childs so much.  Her prints remind me of Mary.  For those of you that have never thought of that I know, mind blown! I look at a lot of dishes but my favorite place to look at them is at antique stores.  If you’re in the Dallas area I really suggest checking out HighStreet Antiques.  I’ve gotten some great pieces there not only for clients but for myself.

However, when it comes to floral patterns my absolute favorite pattern that’s currently on the market is Mackenzie Childs Flower Market Pattern mixed with the Courtly Check pattern. What draws me most to this pattern is the mixing of something so feminine (Flower Market) and putting it with a bold check (Courtly).  That’s what makes this a great spring or summer pattern for entertaining.

Check out Mackenzie-Childs here.

What are your favorite floral patterns?
