Welcome to March Cookbook Club! This month the pick is Southern Keto by Natasha Newton. I’ve been cooking out of this book for a little over a year and love it. More importantly my incredibly picky eater husband loves everything that I’ve made out of this book.
So how does the book club work you might ask? Every month I will pick out a new cookbook that is gluten-free, low-carb/keto and sugar free. For those of you that don’t know I have celiac disease and diabetes. I‘be been able to manage my diabetes with the keto diet and not have to go on medication!
Each month I will pick out a different cookbook and we will cook our meals directly from that book. On Friday’s I will post the next week’s meal plan and I will email the grocery shopping list.
I am not a nutritionist and I am not a doctor but I will share with you what I am eating and what I make for my family. This is what has worked for me. I constantly hear people say that they want to do keto but they don’t know what to eat so I’m going to take all the guesswork out for you.
I’m going to start doing a weekly cooking Instagram live on Thursdays at 11 AM CST. During this cooking segment we’ll make something that’s a gluten free/low carb staple in my kitchen and we’ll also go over next weeks meal plan!
I’m not going to charge for these meal plans or for the grocery list, all I ask is that you please purchase your books through my affiliate links which are at no cost to you. If you can do this for me than I can most certainly do this for you 😉.
