Pore Minimizing Mask

I always tell you that I’m not going to try and sell you something just to sell you something. Unlike a lot of bloggers that go through Sephora, Ulta, etc and pick out the “Best Sellers” I will only EVER tell you about a problem area that I have and the products that I’m using to rectify the situation.

With that being said I feel like my pores are HUGE! So I’ve been trying a few new products / combinations to help. I’m also not the mom that goes and has a facial once a month. Honestly, I think the last time that I had a facial was before David and I started dating and we’ve been together for nine years!

When I finally decided to start working on this I googled how to make my pores smaller. Yes, I GOOGLED it!

One of the recommendations was to start using a clay pore minimizing mask.

After a ton of research this was the one that I landed on. It has over 18,000 reviews and is under $20, so I thought what the heck! I’ve been using it for about a month now and can I tell a difference? I don’t know but I can tell you that I feel like my makeup has a much better and has a more flawless finish. I have NOT changed any makeup products either.

I’ve been using this three times a week. I use it on Monday, Wednesday and Friday night. First, I remove all of my makeup with this cleanser. Then I re-apply the oil and use my Vanity Planet Spatula. On these evenings I use the exfoliate feature then the lift feature. Once I’ve gone through all of these steps I wipe my face off with a warm wash cloth. I let my face dry so I might wait three to five minutes and then I apply this mud mask. I let it sit on my face for ten minutes then I rinse off with warm water and a wash cloth. FYI, don’t use nice wash cloths … the clay stains! It’s fairly easy to remove just use warm water and wipe in circular motions with the wash cloth.

My skin has a lovely tone and is super soft after this mask is removed!

Then I use my toner and apply my retinol, vitamin c, lotion and eye cream. I wait one minute between each application. Once the one minute is up on my eye cream I come back with my face spatula and use the moisturize function.

I don’t know if the mask or the combination of everything but I’m loving the way that this mask makes my skin feel. I’ve even used it on David!

It’s a great way to unwind at the end of the day or while you’re watch a tv show. You can still move around so don’t worry about that!
